What a jam-packed week it has been.
4H chalet (Monday to Wednesday)
I guess I'll just totally summarize it into words, cuz I'm just too tired to blog everything about it. =x
1st day
Went to the chalet straight after finishing up with my kids. (will emphasize on them later on).
BBQ was great. The guys, esp dav and hong yi did a great job with the fire and cooking.
Blackjack is always fun with people who make them that way.
(A sight that made me chuckle) Sam, roy, hong yi and gang being typical men. Drinking down glasses of Carlsberg and munching on peanuts outside. Haha..
Took 2 hours of sleep before rushing down to Orchard to meet the kids again.
2nd day
Rushed back to chalet again. Found out the girls went k-box without a good male backup vocalist. LOL
David brought his guitar on the 2nd day, had a mini sing-along session with Steph, Sze and Lun Fei.
Went to the beach at night with Yh, Loo, Dav, Lf, Sze, and Steph.
Played Indian Poker combined with Truth or Dare. And got answers to a lot of interesting stuff. Haha
Had a talk that I would usually have with Jenn and Shu Hui. Talking about anything under the sun and stuff like, "What is our purpose in life".
The guys stayed while I went back with yh and loo.
Slept and left with Jia Qi in the wee hours of the morning for our specific ONOW projs
Its nice to see and hear from everyone again. Pity our beloved form teacher couldn't make it.
Anw, I had been going to YMCA for the past week. Being a G.L for the 4-6 year olds with my ONOW group. Its a daily routine of 9am to 6pm. Exhausting it may be, but me and Jan's gonna miss our kids when it eventually ends tomorrow.
At first we weren't very keen to the idea of babysitting kids for an entire week. And the kids were hard to handle esp. when you're so shagged from juggling between a chalet. But somehow after the 3rd day, they've grown on us.
I love my kids, Jo-shin, Ryan, Jade, Joseph, Emily, Alicia, Elizabeth, and Carol. As well as the kids from Justin's and Jan's group. Alyssa, Sonia, Riho, Owen. (: They're all adorable. Like super. And I know cuteness when I see it. LOL. These kids makes me pinch their cheeks so many times.
But yeah, tomorrow's the last day of the week long learning camp. I'm going to miss every single one of those children. I'm sure Syafiq's group are feeling the same. (The 7-10 year olds).
But enough said, going out with Steph and gang after the last day to celebrate the wonderful month of june. ;)
