Ahhh crap! The holidays are ending.. ALREADY! And I haven't done much of my hmwrk yet...*grumbles...* Is it me or the holiday this yr seem so much shorter...

Anyways going to the ICA ltr to make my IC... ~ALONE~ Thats sad... I guess I don't have much friends thats born on June. = o

So yeah... did anyone read the newpaper yesterday? There was this article about the golden melody awards. Seriously have the judges gone bonkers!!? I thought the golden melody was as prestige as the grammy awards, whats with the winners of the major categories?

Lets see, Jolin actually won the best mandarin female singer award!? Yikes! It's more like they definitely voted her coz of her pop appeal... Taiwanese just wanna crown their pop princess. She definitely has the weakest vocals among the other nominees. This is absurd...=.=

Then there's the best mandarin male singer award that went to nicky lee of MACHI. You know, that japanese looking guy with a heavy american accent? He can't even pronunciate chinese properly! How did people like david tao & JJ lin lost?

The best album went to MC hotdog...umm...ignore the name. He's album is full of vulgarities! Does it mean that the high standards of mandarin pop wants artists out there to create vulgar filled albums in order to win next time? Yeesh....

The suckiest part, for me that is, is that Jolin and David Tao's "Marry me today" won best song of the year. HAA! Thats UNBELIVABLE! So its a catchy and a fun song... but there's much better songs out there. I don't even listen to mando songs that much and I can name a few already...

What a sad night... Seriously, what happened to the standards of the Golden Melodys.
