Turns out on july the 4th, the national snooker competition will be held. Our school has already received the invitation letter, but its just like yc said... This doesn't look good for us... at all.
2005 our school won the championship, 2006 we were the first runner-ups, this year we might not even get through the qualifying matches. Our school's snooker club has gradually lost its competitiveness over the years, its sad really. We, the seniors, might be the batch that really drag the status down.
Lets face it, we've never had proper training... there was never a coach to begin with, we're the ones that teaches the juniors. Now that the sec 4 seniors have to manage with their O's its just us sec 3 left to compete. And seriously, among the sec 3's theres only yan cheng, clarence and I that can actually win a game properly... the rest are really just not up to standard yet.
There are a few sec 2's that have serious potential that we have included in the line-up. But really...even the top 3 are still way behind the previous representatives.
I really feel that we have let the graduated seniors down... Angeline, Eileen, Michelle, Yin Keat, Marcus... We really cannot afford to lose in the qualifiers as one of the higher expectation school.
We need to just go all out on this one. Sorry guys for letting you all down...= (
